This Privacy Policy describes how Jose Flores ("I", "me", or "my") handles information in connection with the Softly Alma mobile application ("App").
I do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details to use it.
The App logs anonymous, non-identifiable events to understand how it is used in aggregate. Examples of logged events include:
These events are stored in Google Firebase and are used solely to improve the App.
When you tap the Share button, the App renders your customized quote card as a temporary image file stored only in the device's private cache. This image is then passed to iOS's native share sheet (provided by Apple), which allows you to send it via Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or any other app you have installed.
The iOS share sheet may display names, profile pictures, or device names from your contacts as sharing suggestions (for example, suggested AirDrop recipients or frequent Messages contacts). This is handled entirely by iOS — the App itself never requests, reads, accesses, stores, or transmits your contacts or contact data in any form. You can verify this by checking that the App does not request a Contacts permission at any point.
Once the share sheet closes, the temporary image file is discarded and is not retained by the App or sent to any server.
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect certain device information and use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. This data is collected by Google, not by me. For more information on how Google uses data, please visit:
When you choose to save a quote card to your device, the App requests permission to add photos to your photo library. This permission is used solely to save the customized quote card image you have created — for example, saving a card with your chosen background and font so you can set it as a wallpaper or share it later. The App does not read, browse, or upload any existing photos from your library.
The App stores your display preferences (such as wallpaper and font choices) locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to me.
If you grant permission, the App collects your device's push notification token to send optional daily reminders. Specifically:
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect any information from children.
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
